📱 How do I start an adventure?
Download Fablepath from the App Store, open it, and tap any story world. That's it — no account, no sign-in, no setup needed. Your adventure with Pip starts immediately.
🆓 What can I do for free?
Free users get complete 5-chapter adventures in 4 story worlds: Dragon Quest, Space Explorer, Animal Friends, and Super Sleuth. Every adventure has a proper happy ending. Replay them as many times as you like — each time Pip creates a completely different story.
👤 Do I need to create an account?
No account is needed for free adventures. You only need to sign in to use Super Mode. This is by design — we believe kids should be able to play without any data collection.
📱 What devices does Fablepath work on?
Fablepath works on iPhone and iPad running iOS 16 or later. It's optimised for both screen sizes.
🌐 Does Fablepath need internet?
Yes — Pip writes your story in real time, so an internet connection is needed to generate each chapter. The chapter you're currently reading will stay on screen if you lose connection, but you'll need to reconnect to get the next one.
📖 Adventures & How They Work
🐉 How does Pip write my adventure?
Before chapter one, Pip plans your complete adventure — the setup, challenges, climax, and ending. Every chapter is written fresh for your child based on the choices they make, so no two adventures are ever the same.
🔁 Are adventures really different every time?
Yes — every adventure is created fresh. Even choosing the same world with the same choices produces completely different text, characters, and events. The possibilities are effectively endless.
🏁 Do free adventures always have an ending?
Always. Free adventures are 5 chapters with a proper beginning, exciting middle, and happy ending. We never cut off an adventure or put the ending behind a paywall. If a free adventure ends without a proper conclusion, that's a bug — please report it to hello@fablepath.app.
🎯 What age are adventures written for?
Adventures are written for ages 4–12 with clear, vivid, age-appropriate language. No violence, no scary content, no mature themes. They work great for kids reading independently and for parents reading aloud at bedtime.
📏 What lengths are available in Super Mode?
Super Mode lets your child choose their adventure length before Pip starts writing:
- Short — ~10 chapters
- Medium — ~20 chapters
- Long — ~30 chapters
- Endless — Pip keeps going, with fresh mini-adventures every 5 chapters!

🔊 How do I get Pip to read my adventure?
Tap the 🔊 button at the top right of any chapter. Then choose a voice using the 👩 Her Voice / 👨 His Voice toggle. Tap "Read this chapter" and Pip's story will be read aloud. Tap ⏹ to stop at any time.
🎙️ What's the difference between free and Super Mode voices?
Free users get your device's built-in voices, which vary by iPhone model. Super Mode users get premium ElevenLabs voices — warm, natural, and expressive — specifically chosen to be great for kids' stories.
🔇 The audio stopped — what happened?
Read-aloud automatically stops when you move to a new chapter (so Pip doesn't keep reading the old chapter while you're on the next one). Just tap 🔊 again on the new chapter to continue.

Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you used when you subscribed

❓ I restored but Super Mode still isn't showing. What do I do?
Try these steps:
- Force-close the app (swipe up from bottom) and reopen it
- Check you're using the same Apple ID as when you subscribed: Settings → Your Name → Apple ID
- Check your subscription is still active: Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions
- Still not working? Email hello@fablepath.app — we'll sort it out within 24 hours

Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We don't offer partial refunds for unused time, but Apple may issue one at their discretion.
🔄 How do I switch from monthly to annual?
iPhone Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → Fablepath → tap the annual plan. The switch takes effect at your next billing date.
👨👩👧👦 Can my whole family use one subscription?
Yes! Fablepath supports Apple Family Sharing. Set up Family Sharing in iPhone Settings → Your Name → Family Sharing, and all family members get Super Mode with one subscription.
💰 Can I get a refund?
All purchases go through Apple's App Store. For refund requests, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID. Apple typically processes refund requests within 48 hours. You can also email us at hello@fablepath.app and we'll advocate for you with Apple.
🔒 Privacy & Safety
👶 Is Fablepath safe for my child?
Yes. Fablepath is in Apple's Kids Category, which means it meets Apple's strictest safety standards. There are no ads, no chat, no social features, no user-generated content, and no way for your child to interact with strangers.
📊 What data do you collect from my child?
In guest mode (the default): nothing at all. Your child is completely anonymous. If you sign in for Super Mode, we store the parent's name and email only — not the child's. We do not collect personal information directly from children under 13. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
🚫 Are there really no ads?
Zero ads. Not in the free version, not in Super Mode, not now, not ever. Our only revenue is the optional Super Mode subscription. This is a firm, permanent commitment.
🗑️ How do I delete my account and data?
Email privacy@fablepath.app with the subject "Delete My Account." We'll delete all your data within 30 days and confirm when it's done. You can also go to Settings → Account → Delete Account directly in the app.
