🌟 The Plain English Version
Fablepath is a kids' adventure app. You can use it for free — no account needed. If you want longer adventures you can subscribe to Super Mode for $2.99/month or $14.99/year. We make money from subscriptions only, never ads. We won't do anything sneaky, and we ask the same from you. If something breaks, email us and we'll fix it.
📱 1. About Fablepath
Fablepath is a create-your-own-adventure app created by Blue Edge Technologies ("we," "us," "our"). The app generates unique branching stories narrated by Pip the dragon for children ages 4–12.
By downloading or using Fablepath, you agree to these Terms. If you are a parent or guardian setting up this app for a child, you agree on behalf of yourself and your child.
🆓 2. Free and Subscription Services
Free Tier: Available to all users without an account. Includes complete 5-chapter adventures in 4 story worlds. Unlimited replays. No credit card required. Available forever with no time limits.
Super Mode: A paid subscription offering longer adventures (10, 20, or 30 chapters, or Endless mode), all 6 story worlds, premium read-aloud voices, adventure saving, and additional features.
Subscription pricing: $2.99/month or $14.99/year (billed annually).
👍 3. Acceptable Use
You may use Fablepath for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You agree not to:
- Attempt to circumvent, hack, or reverse engineer the app or its subscription system
- Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws, including COPPA
- Share account credentials with users outside your Apple Family Sharing group
- Use automated tools to access or interact with the app
- Reproduce or commercialise adventure content generated by the app
🐉 4. Adventure Content
Adventures are generated in real time by a large language model. We instruct the system to produce content appropriate for ages 4–12 only — with no violence, no scary content, and no mature themes. If you encounter content that seems inappropriate, please report it immediately to hello@fablepath.app.
Adventure content is provided for your personal enjoyment only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialise adventures generated by Fablepath.
👪 5. Parental Responsibility
Fablepath is designed for children. Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring their child's use, all charges incurred through their Apple ID, and setting appropriate screen time limits using iOS Screen Time controls.

The Fablepath name, logo, Pip the dragon character, app design, and all associated branding are owned by Blue Edge Technologies and protected by trademark and copyright law.
⚠️ 7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Fablepath is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranty that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. We will always try our best to keep the app working well, but we want to be honest about the limitations of any warranty we can make.
🛡️ 8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Blue Edge Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of Fablepath. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
📝 9. Changes to These Terms
If we make material changes we will notify you via email (if you have an account) and via an in-app notice at least 30 days before changes take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
⚖️ 10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts, United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, except that either party may bring claims in small claims court.
